Mauricio LOYOLA

Mauricio Loyola is an academic and researcher in digital technologies for the architecture, engineering and construction industry. He holds a PhD in Architecture and Computing from Princeton University, a Master in Design and Technology from Harvard University and an Architect from the University of Chile. He is the coordinator of the Virtual Environments Research Group (www.ver.uchilefau.cl) at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Chile, where he conducts research and teaching on the use of VR, AR and XR in the AEC industry. He is also coordinator of the Diploma in Construction Technologies 4.0 at the University of Chile, director of BIM Forum Chile, director of the National BIM Survey and consultant on BIM, IoT, machine learning, CAD/CAM and other topics.
