Alejandro ANGEL

Director and Producer of New Media, Film and TV and Curator of transmedia and immersive content. Since 2011 he created and directs #ToNarrateTheFuture: CC & New Media Film Festival. He has been a jury, curator and tutor of calls and exhibitions of documentary content, new media and digital, immersive and interactive formats such as the Canada Media Fund, the Colombian Co-production Market, Crea Digital de Mincultura and Mintic, the Fondo de arts, culture and innovation, the Audiovisual Call for contents of the ICT Ministry, The International Conference on Interactive digital storytelling (ICIDS) among others in Colombia, the United Kingdom, Argentina and Canada. He is currently Associate Professor of the Filmmaking Area at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogotá, Executive Producer of Armadillo: New Media & Films and produces the documentary feature films “Granada: Relato de un Perdón” and “Todos las Flores” and produces and co- directs the documentary feature “Manos de Luz”. He has recently directed “Chakero” and “Slow Death: The Uitoto people cornered by mercury”.
